When you use the BeckonX mobile application, we collect some information about you. In addition, you can choose to use the application to share information with other users, including your friends and contacts ("Users"). We may also need to share your information at times.
BeckonX operates internationally. If your information is processed outside your country or region, we use the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

When you download an application and create an account ("Account"), we may collect certain information about you ("Registration Information"), such as:
Gender identity and date of birth are optional profile information. You may view and change the information you provide at any time. You must confirm that you are at least 18 years old before accessing the service, but you do not need to provide your full date of birth for this confirmation.
The information we collect helps us operate the application and verify accounts. Other users viewing your profile page may see your registration information such as sexual orientation, name, and username.
For users who are residents of California, the data we may collect falls under the following categories of "personal information" as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
We recommend and encourage you (and all of our members) to carefully consider the information you disclose about yourself. We also do not recommend that you enter email address, URL, instant message details, phone number, full name or address, credit card details, ID card number, driver's license details and other sensitive information in your profile, which may be abused and misused.
When you post information about yourself or use messaging features to communicate with other users, the amount of personal information you share is at your own risk. Please refer to Section 4 below for more information on who can access the content you post on BeckonX.
For safety and fraud-prevention purposes, we may ask you to verify your account using information such as your phone number or other account details. We use this information to help protect the community and prevent fake or abusive accounts.
If you allow BeckonX to access your location in device settings, when you use your phone, we will collect information about WiFi access points and other location information about your longitude and latitude, and may save the coordinates of your device to provide you with certain features. These pieces of information help us identify your actual location and use it to personalize our application. By displaying general location information to users viewing your profile and showing you the profiles of other users near you, we make it easier for you to interact with other users.
If you have granted BeckonX access to your location but wish to disable it, you can do so through the following methods:
When you use the application, we may collect information about your device, including unique device identifiers, device models, and operating systems, for various purposes specified in this policy. We will also collect data about your photos, such as which ones were taken by users during their time, which ones have the best lighting, and so on. We may use this data to rearrange your personal profile picture in a way that benefits you. You can choose to exit this feature through our application settings.
We may track how you interact with links provided on BeckonX (including third-party services) through redirects, clicks, or other means. We may share aggregated click through statistics, such as the number of clicks on specific links.
We may conduct surveys from time to time for research purposes, and we may contact you to inquire if you are willing to participate. We may also contact you to inquire if you are willing to provide feedback, recommendations, or participate in marketing activities (for example, if you let us know that you have found a match on the application, we may contact you to ask if you are willing to display it in BeckonX's advertisements). Such surveys and marketing activities are optional, and more information will be provided at the contact point. If you do not wish to be contacted to participate in surveys or marketing activities, please contact us.
When you use our application, we may use cookies or similar technologies to automatically collect your personal data. Cookies are small files that can be placed on your device or browser, allowing us to recognize and remember you.

Our main goal is to ensure that your experience on BeckonX is enjoyable! In order to provide you with a pleasant experience, we may use your registration information and other information to:
BeckonX provides discovery and recommendation features using information you choose to provide, such as profile details, preferences, optional gender identity, optional date of birth, location, and your interactions with the service. When you choose to complete the pulse-reading experience, related measurement information may support the daily discovery experience. A pulse reading is not used to infer private emotions, diagnose health conditions, determine medical fitness, or make an absolute claim about romantic compatibility. If optional information is not provided, the service uses broader default discovery rules where appropriate.
We combine automated systems and audit teams to monitor and review accounts (including photos and any other information uploaded to user profiles) and messages to identify content that violates our terms and conditions of use. If an account or message meets certain criteria indicating a possible violation of the terms and conditions of use, the relevant account will be warned and the user's access privileges will be restricted and/or blocked. Affected users can contact BeckonX to raise objections to this decision.
Our policy is not to disclose your registration information or personal data unless in the limited circumstances described below:
We hire certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us. We may share your registration information or personal data with these third parties, but only for the purpose of performing these functions and providing such services.
As mentioned in our Terms of Service, we believe that the behavior of all users when using the application is crucial. We will collaborate with all third parties to enforce their intellectual property or other rights. If required by law, we will cooperate with information enforcement requests lawfully made within or outside your country of residence. This may include investigating the alleged criminal behavior or protecting personal interests. If we sincerely believe it is necessary to comply with laws or regulations, or when we sincerely believe it is necessary to protect the safety of any person, we may disclose your information.
We may share summary information with third parties, which includes your personal data (but does not directly identify you) and other information, including log data used for industry analysis and demographic analysis.
We believe our users are great, and we want you to share your excellence with the world, so we have built certain features to achieve this goal. Our application aims to make it easier for you to connect with other users and interact with them.
Please be careful to post sensitive and detailed information about yourself on your personal profile, such as your religious affiliation and health details. When you add certain information to your personal profile, you can also choose to add sensitive information about yourself, such as your religion and political affiliation. Although you can voluntarily provide us with this information, including your sexual orientation, when creating your profile, there is no requirement to do so. Please note that the photos you post on BeckonX may also reveal information about yourself. If you upload and choose to tell us about your own sensitive information, it means that you explicitly agree to our processing of this information and making it public to other users.
Your BeckonX personal account and other information provided through the application may be viewed by users and shared with individuals who may or may not be users of the application. For example, users can recommend you as a matching partner to their friends by taking a screenshot of your profile picture and sharing it, regardless of whether the friend is also a user of the application.
Although we hope that as many people as possible will enjoy our creations, you must be at least 18 years old to use BeckonX. We require an age-eligibility confirmation before you can access the service, but you do not need to provide your full date of birth.
BeckonX does not intentionally collect any information or market to children, minors, or anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that a child, minor, or anyone under the age of 18 has registered with us and provided us with personal information, we will take measures to terminate that person's registration.
At BeckonX, we take pride in taking all appropriate security measures to help protect your information from loss, abuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. We use reasonable security measures to protect the confidentiality of your personal information, such as using a secure server with a firewall.
Unfortunately, no website or Internet transmission is 100% secure. Even though we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacker attacks, data loss or other violations will never occur, here are some convenient tips to help you ensure data security:
If you believe someone has accessed your password or account, please change your password as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee the security of your personal data when transmitted to our website, and any transmission risks are borne by you.
You have certain rights regarding your personal information. The specific rights applicable to you may vary depending on your country/region. You should be aware of the rights granted to you by the privacy laws applicable in your country/region.
Rights related to automated decision-making, including analysis: There are multiple rights in this field, where processing on a fully automated basis can lead to decisions that have legal or significant impact on individuals. In these cases, your rights include the right to ensure human intervention in the decision-making process.
The California Anti Customer Disclosure Act (Section 1798.83 of the Civil Code) requires certain businesses to respond to requests from California customers regarding their practices of disclosing personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We hope you can access BeckonX anytime, anywhere. In order to provide this service, we operate a global server network. The hardware is located in a third-party data center, but belongs to BeckonX. We ensure that data is fully protected by ensuring effective legal mechanisms are in place, such as EU approved model clauses and implementing robust contract standards. We will only retain your personal information on legal grounds (as described in Section 2 above) and as permitted by applicable laws. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
When your account is deleted, we will ensure that it is no longer visible in the application. Unless:
BeckonX provides optional AI assistance for natural-language discovery, recommendation explanations, profile improvement suggestions, conversation starters, and reply drafts. AI is an assistive layer and does not send messages automatically or make final relationship decisions.
Processing choices: When Apple Intelligence and a supported on-device model are available, processing may occur on your iPhone. If on-device processing is unavailable and you have enabled AI assistance, the app may use a privacy-controlled backend service to generate suggestions. You can enable or disable AI assistance in Settings.
Availability: Some AI-assisted features require iOS 26 or later and a device that supports Apple Intelligence. If an AI provider is unavailable, the app falls back to a standard rule-based experience where possible.
Your control: You can enable or disable AI-assisted features at any time in Settings. Disabling AI features does not affect your ability to use BeckonX — it only removes AI-generated suggestions and reverts to the standard matching experience.
Use and training: AI suggestions are generated from the limited information needed for the requested feature. BeckonX does not use your personal data to train public AI models and does not infer private emotions from heart-rate data.
BeckonX currently targets English-speaking users in the United States. We may expand to additional languages and regions in future versions. Any regional expansion will include appropriate localized interface content, AI language support, privacy notices, safety rules, age requirements, and customer support for that market.
With the development of BeckonX, we may revise this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version of this policy will constrain our use of your information. If we make significant changes to this policy at our own discretion, we will notify you, for example, by sending an email through the email associated with your account or posting a notification in BeckonX.
